About

Traci Kashuba began her decorating career in her own back yard in the community of Edenwold. For twelve years as a stay at home mother of three children, then the Village of Edenwold Administrator for 6 years, she ventured out in the volunteer world making her mark in the many community events that required that special creative touch. She became known as the cardboard and plastic queen as those items were indispensable when working on a "$0.00" budget.

With the help of fellow committee members, she transformed the Edenwold Community Hall, Etaples Community Hall, Edenwold Lutheran Church and Edenwold Elementary School on numerous occasions into whatever theme was required. Her passion to create the "wow" factor when guests walked into the room flamed her desire to go beyond her community.

As this passion developed, so did the encouragement of family and friends to pursue this as a career in special event planning and decorating. Her 1st paid job was decorating for the Premier of Saskatchewan's reception for 300 distinguished guests for the D-day anniversary with her Royal Highness Princess Anne, held at the Delta Hotel in Regina. Following that event, every facility that she has since decorated were toted as the best that the rooms have every looked. - Quite an accomplishment.

In spring 2006, Traci noticed an article in the Leader Post about redesign and home staging and that a class was going to be offered in Regina. Something about that article told Traci that this is what she has been waiting for. She had heard about home staging, but never thought of herself as doing it. Though she loved special event decorating, many of her time was spent working weekends, especially through the summer. Home staging would be another way of expressing her creative talents on her own schedule. Finally at the age of 40 something, she knew what she wanted to be when she grew up!!!

The rest is history. Traci is a member of the Canadian Redesigners Association, and at their conferences held in each Fall, she has won 1st place categories for her staging skills for the past 3 years in a row! There are currently over 250 members across canada.

She has staged over 100 homes in the Regina and area market. Now her passion has developed into creating the "wow" factor when a potential buyer first walks into the home, as those first seconds are crucial in giving the best 1st impression possible. Staging vacant homes have become her specialty, bringing in quality furniture, artwork, plants, rugs, bedding, dishware, etc. - whatever is necessary to create a show home quality listing. This phrase "creating show home quality listings" has become her catalyst for separating herself from other home stagers in the area.

Traci resides with her family on their Zehner, SK acreage.
